On Monday, Sept 11th I turn 28 and I will be donating my day to Carley’s Angels.
As most of you probably know I joined the Carley’s Angels executive team this year. This has been a new challenge for me, but has been so rewarding to donate my time to something I care so much about in memory of a friend that had such a big impact on my life.
One of my projects this year was to launch our community fundraising program so that people in our community could easily give back to Carley’s Angels, and one of the easiest ways to use this program is to host a ‘donate your day’ fundraiser. The idea is to pick any occasion (birthday, anniversary, holiday, etc.) and ask friends and family for donations to celebrate the day.
So I’m hosting my own donate your day fundraiser to celebrate my birthday. Please consider donating a small amount – my goal is to reach $280 for my 28th birthday. This year has been a whirlwind for me, but being a part of this Carley’s Angels team has been such a light in my life and I want to celebrate that to the fullest.
